The National Birds of Prey Centre started in 1967 as the Falconry Centre and was founded by Phillip Glasier and since then the centre has grown from a private collection of twelve birds to now be one of the largest collections in the world. The centre is now looked after by Jemima Parry-Jones, Phillip Glasier's daughter.
