Heritage Crafts and Museum Shop

No visit to the Dean Heritage Centre is complete without an exploration of the Heritage Crafts & Museum Shop which is located on the ground floor adjacent to the foyer.

The shop boasts the best of locally made crafts in a variety of media including glassware, decoupage, framed postcards, pyrography, wood turning and needlework. Additionally, the shop is home to a wide range of souvenirs and postcards, many depicting local scenes.

In the book section you will find publications by local authors; books on the history of the Forest of Dean; books on a wide variety of interests; leaflets and pamphlets hinged around our educational programmes - and books on industrial and archaeological subjects.

Not forgetting the walkers - we also stock a wide range of maps and guides for local strolls and hard slogs! For the not-so-energetic we have a good supply of duck food and our own charcoal.

Call in and see us - if only for a smile and a chat.

Remember us here when you think of that very special birthday or Christmas gift.
