Schools and Groups

All groups are welcome and discount rates apply. Guided tours of museum and woodlands, educational activity packages and teaching resources are available. Booking is essential. Please ring for an information pack


Facilities

We warmly welcome all visitors to the Dean heritage Centre and staff are happy to advise on access to the museum prior to or during a visit. A Visitors Guide to Access, as well as Braille guides and audiotapes, are available on request. Most areas of the museum, including toilets are accessible for wheelchair users and there is a baby changing and feeding area.


Dogs

We welcome dogs in the car park and on nearby woodland walks. Only guide dogs are allowed into the museum and grounds.


How to find us

The Dean Heritage Centre is located in the heart of the beautiful Forest of Dean on the B4227 at Soudley.

It is around 30 minutes from Gloucester and Monmouth, and within easy reach of Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff.
