The Forest's history is not all woodland and industry. Much of the outlying land is agricultural and some of its orchards are of local cider apples, perry pears and plums.
The open-fronted shed houses a collection of farm implements, including local wagons awaiting conservation.
Dean is bounded by the Severn and Wye. The museum displays include a number of objects related to the important salmon fisheries including the salmon stop-net boat by the pond.
Horse drawn rides, and a Victorian costume day.
